Site Launch: Heady Vermont

Heady Vermont is a media company that provides its users with news, podcasts, videos, business memberships, and access to social events.  Over the last 3 years, Heady Vermont has grown significantly and it was time to take a step back, reassess the design and better understand how to engage with the multiple user-personas that this website attracts.  We feel like we really knocked this one out of the park, streamlining content areas, and developing a cleaner experience.  Themes are a good way to bootstrap a website, but when it comes time to scale up its better to have an expert focus on planning the flow of your website.  This was a critical hurdle for us to find a solution for, simply based on the amount of articles that had accumulated over the years.  We broke the homepage up into clear sections, prioritizing news, highlighting upcoming events, all while developing a broad funnel to drive businesses through.
